The New York Jets are one of the most hyped NFL teams anyone can remember seeing, and it is perhaps for good reason, as they have one of the most talented rosters in the league.
They traded for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers during the offseason, while also bringing in a couple of his old Green Bay Packers teammates in wide receivers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb.
More recently, they signed running back Dalvin Cook, who has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of the last four seasons.
Those four join what was already a promising young team on both sides of the football last season.
Rodgers, per Jori Epstein, talked about why he has been open about the Jets’ Super Bowl aspirations, and he said it’s part speaking it into existence and part reality.

There is a big range of outcomes for the Jets this season, at least according to pundits.
They could end up winning their first Super Bowl since the 1968 season, back when Joe Namath was their star and big celebrity under center.
But there are those who feel not only will New York falter this season, but they could possibly even miss the playoffs altogether.
The AFC will be insanely deep and competitive, and the Jets will have to make sure they win enough head-to-head battles against the Buffalo Bills (who they will play on Monday), Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers.
In addition, Rodgers has to bounce back from a poor 2022 season and regain at least some of the form he showed when he won the MVP award in 2020 and 2021.
