The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the red-hot Indianapolis Colts in Week 9.
The defense finally stepped up after a dismal start to the season, and they made Colts quarterback Daniel Jones look like his former self.
However, the final score was closer than what was shown for most of the game, so Aaron Rodgers was far from satisfied with the Steelers’ offense.
“I love the playcalling. I thought the execution was pretty bad. We gotta look in the mirror and play better on offense because that’s not good enough. Any phase, me, the run game, catching the football. Defense played incredible. Game like that, we’ve got to put 35, 42 on the board and close the game out,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers finished with 203 passing yards and one touchdown.
The offense wasn’t as proficient as it’s been at times this season, and while a win is a win, the veteran QB knows it needs to do much better to get the job done against other Super Bowl contenders.
That’s what adding a leader like Rodgers can bring to the table.
Some may not appreciate his blunt and straightforward style, but he’ll be the first to say when he doesn’t play up to his standards.
Having someone like that on the team inevitably forces everybody else to also step up and be the best version of themselves.
The Steelers entered the season with playoff aspirations.
Some might not agree with that outlook, but they’re atop the AFC North at the halfway point.
Things won’t get easier for them now that Lamar Jackson is back for the Baltimore Ravens, and that’s why Rodgers wants everybody locked in and at their best.
