The Indianapolis Colts hold multiple second-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
It will be interesting to see which direction the team chooses to go after the team selects in the first-round with the No. 13 pick.
Indy should be able to find someone that can come and play immediately.
With the No. 33 and No. 44 picks in the second round, let’s take a look at three offensive targets the Colts could target.
1. Jacob Eason: Quarterback (Washington)
The team should look to the draft and consider taking Washington Huskies standout Jacob Eason.
Eason finished 2019 with 3,132 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
The numbers may not be glamorous, but Eason is a pro-style quarterback that would fit into the Colts’ current offensive schema.
These are the types of throws that excite you about Washington QB Jacob Eason. He has the confidence that he can fit a football through a key hole.

The Draft Network gave a solid analysis of Eason, which included “phenomenal arm talent,” “big, strong presence in the pocket,” and a positive comment about his confidence getting the ball to his receivers.
Eason may not be the quarterback to lead the Colts to a Super Bowl, but the team should take a look.
If Eason is available in the second or third round, then taking a look at Eason would not be a bad idea.
2. Denzel Mims: Wide Receiver (Baylor)
If the Cowboys look to the draft for receiver depth, Denzel Mims is everything the team could ask for in a draft prospect.
Mims attended Baylor and showed flashy speed and agility at the NFL Combine according to multiple reports.
Analysts have compared Mims to New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith.
Denzel Mims is a rare, explosive athlete that proved he can run a diverse route tree at a high level at the Senior Bowl. He also possesses great contested-catch ability and ball skills.

Mims finished his college career with 28 touchdowns.
At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, Mims brings size that could fit in a pro offense right away.
In 2019, Mims caught 66 passes for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns.
3. Justin Jefferson: Wide Receiver (LSU)
Justin Jefferson has first-round talent, but could fall to the beginning of the second round.
Either way, Jefferson is borderline and if he falls, the Colts should seriously consider him.
Jefferson finished 2018 with 54 receptions for 875 yards and six touchdowns.
In 2019, he took off with 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Jefferson is 6-foot-3, 192 pounds and has been compared to the skills of Michael Gallup, who finished with over 1,000 yards this past year.

Honorable Mention
Jordan Love just completed his junior season at Utah State, leading the team to a 7-6 record and an appearance in the Frisco Bowl.
As a sophomore, Love threw for 3,567 yards and 32 touchdowns and six interceptions.
However, his production slipped to 20 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in 2019.
The Colts might be need of a quarterback and Love is another borderline option between the first and second round.
