MLB has five or six really, really good teams, six or seven extremely bad ones, and lots of clubs in the middle.
This season, a handful of organizations have a shot at winning at least 100 games if they get hot and keep accumulating wins.
These four, however, are the ones with the firmest chance to complete the century: the Milwaukee Brewers, Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the surprising San Francisco Giants.
Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers have had an incredibly surprising 2021 campaign.
They have, as of Thursday afternoon, a 78-49 record, the third-best in the National League and fourth-best in all MLB.
They would need to win 22 of the 35 games they have remaining on their schedule.
That would mean finishing the season 22-13.
It’s certainly attainable for a talented team like the Brewers, but it won’t be easy.
Right now, Milwaukee’s priority would be getting to the postseason with most of their stars healthy, rather than getting to 100 wins.
Nevertheless, they have a good chance to do both, and they certainly can’t relax and let the Cincinnati Reds (9.5 games back) get too close.
Brewers are on pace to win 100 games they are already “great”

Tampa Bay Rays
The Tampa Bay Rays have a 79-48 record, the best in the American League East over the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Toronto Blue Jays.
They are 4.5 games up in the standings with more than a month to play, so they have every motivation to keep winning games.
In that pursuit, they will likely get to 100 victories this season.
To get there in 2021, they would need to go 21-14 over the rest of the season.
For a talented, deep team like the Rays, it’s certainly possible.
They might want to win as much as they can because the streaking Yankees want to take the division.
Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers – Giants race for the NL West division is one of the most fascinating storylines for the rest of the season.
Los Angeles has taken it up a notch, winning nine of their last 10 games and positioning themselves to make a run at the division.
They are currently 2.5 games out of first place, with an 80-47 record.
They would need to play a little above .500 for the rest of the season to win 100 games.
At the rate they are currently winning, it’s almost a sure thing that they will get there.
They are just too good not to.
They would need to go 20-15 or better in order to reach 100 victories in 2021.
San Francisco Giants
The Giants have the majors’ best record, at 82-44.
They have gotten the best out of their roster, most notably Buster Posey, Brandon Crawford, Darin Ruf, and Kevin Gausman, among many others.
They have 36 games remaining on their calendar.
If they play .500 ball for the rest of the campaign, that would be enough to get to 100 wins, given that they only need 18 more.
the Giants arre currently on pace of 105 wins, with 37 games left. Of course, only If they keep playing .648
if somehow they drastically drop to .500 next 37 games, they’ll still win 98/99
so i’d say it’s pretty likely they win end up with 100+ wins
who would’ve thought?!

Many experts have been expecting the Giants to fall off a cliff for months and it hasn’t happened.
Why would it happen now?
They should get there without any issues.
