After a disappointing exit in the ALCS, New York Yankees fans are hoping for the team to make a big transaction from outside the organization.
Fans are obviously happy to see that Aaron Judge returned to the Bronx, but they want more, and the Yankees may in fact give them more.
The Yankees are one of several teams that is said to be showing interest in left-hander Carlos Rodon.
On Twitter, Yankees fan Randy Wilkins, the director of the ESPN series “The Captain”, called for the team to make a splash and get the ace signed as soon as possible.
The Yankees need to lock this Rodón deal up soon. Minnesota doesn’t really have many other places to spend big unless they go after Swanson.

Yankees Fan Wants Rodon Signed
The Yankees starting rotation does have several question marks entering 2023.
While Gerrit Cole and Nestor Cortes are set to be the team’s top two starters, there are some questions that have yet to be answered.
Mid-season acquisition Frankie Montas struggled upon his arrival in the Bronx.
Luis Severino returned to form, but does have a history of injuries.
The Yankees are also a little thin in the rotation after trading Jordan Montgomery to St. Louis and losing Jameson Taillon in free agency.
While they could give the open spot to Clarke Schmidt or another internal candidate, Rodon would be a sure thing.
Putting him at the top of the rotation with Cole and Cortes would make the Yankees a serious threat to contend for a World Series title in 2023.
Even the San Francisco Giants will struggle to outbid the Yankees for Rodon, especially after signing Carlos Correa to a massive contract.
The opportunity is there for the Yankees to close the deal and get their ace.
