Many teams around the NBA like to start the year away from home to get the entire team to focus and lock into the goal ahead, and the Los Angeles Clippers are no different.
Tyronn Lue’s squad will get their year underway on the road, with Kawhi Leonard and company traveling to Hawaii to begin their training camp.
It’ll be an important year for the Clippers, as it could very well be championship or bust, with Leonard and Paul George having a player option for next season when the franchise finally moves into their new arena, the Intuit Dome.
On Tuesday, Leonard was seen getting off the plane in Hawaii via the team’s Twitter account, as he’s reportedly 100% healthy and ready to start the 2023-24 NBA season that way.

This will be the first time the Leonard-George duo in Los Angeles features the Clippers flying under the radar, as no one is picking this team to come out of the Western Conference or to be a serious threat in the conference.
After getting burned year after year since the arrival of Leonard and George, the dynamic duo will now be forced to prove themselves while both superstars try to stay healthy for the 82-game grind.
If Leonard and George can stay healthy and productive, the Clippers could turn into a force to be reckoned with once again in the West, but for now, this team has a lot to prove moving forward, with no telling how things will pan out for Steve Ballmer’s squad.
