If there is one player that can seemingly not catch a break with injuries, it is Minnesota Twins star Royce Lewis.
He was their first overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft.
But, he has been bitten by the injury bug ever since.
His professional career began with him tearing the ACL in his right knee twice.
Then there have been a plethora of other injuries that have caused him to miss time.
Over the last few months, Lewis has been one of the best players in baseball.
He was finally healthy and everything seemed to be moving in the right direction.
And then, the injury bug reared its ugly head.
According to FOX Sports: MLB, Lewis has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.

In 58 games this season, Lewis is batting .309 with 15 home runs and 52 RBI.
One thing he was lauded for was his ability to hit grand slams.
It seemed like every time he came up with bases loaded the ball was going out of the park.
According to Sarah Langs, Lewis is the first player in MLB history with five grand slams within his first 16 career home runs.

He will be greatly missed from the Twins lineup as this injury will most likely keep him out the rest of the regular season.
But the Twins are headed to the playoffs and hopefully, Lewis will be able to return for that.
Lewis has had terrible injury luck throughout his career,
Hopefully, this injury will not force him to miss his first shot in the playoffs.
