The Damian Lillard trade saga may finally be coming to an end, with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Toronto Raptors potentially progressing toward a blockbuster deal.
Although all signs pointed to the Blazers and the Miami Heat eventually coming to terms on a blockbuster trade, that deal may never come to fruition, even though Lillard insisted he wants to play alongside Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo moving forward.
The Raptors recently emerged as the favorite to land Lillard in a trade, but it has been uncertain what player or players the Blazers would want in return from Toronto.
According to Marc J. Spears of ESPN, the Blazers want rookie Gradey Dick involved in the trade package, via NBACentral.

From here on out, the real question is how quickly a deal can come together and what stars might be on the move in a potential blockbuster trade.
The Milwaukee Bucks are also said to be talking to the Blazers with an interest in Lillard, with the team potentially wanting to convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to stick around long-term.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Bucks’ trade package can compete with what the Raptors might be willing to send to Portland in a blockbuster deal.
Milwaukee likely doesn’t have the young assets that the Blazers are looking for, which may be why Toronto is favored to get this done.NEXT: Insider Questions Trail Blazers’ Decisions About Damian Lillard
