Grant Williams of the Boston Celtics is having his best season yet with an average of 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.
He has been starting in more games and having a bigger impact too, especially with the repeated absences from Marcus Smart.
Williams has gotten better in multiple ways.
Because of that, there are other teams who are wishing they could have him.
Chatter around the Celtics trading Grant Williams is starting to grow a little louder, per @KeithSmithNBA.

In fact, NBA writer Keith Smith is reporting that trade “chatter” around Williams is growing.
Apparently, the team is open to moving Williams only if they can get a player they consider comparable to him with a contract that keeps him under control for a few more seasons.
Williams is playing his fourth season in the league and has been a Celtic since his rookie year.
This year he has upped his defensive game as well as some of his offensive power.
For example, his three-point percentage is now 41.4%, a career-high.
Meanwhile, his field goal percentage is 47.4%, which is close to the highest it’s ever been.
Williams really has been an important part of the team.
But the Celtics are doing so well that they will sit tight and not move him unless they get an offer that really blows their hair back.
They don’t want to toy with the good thing they have going so a deal isn’t likely.
Right now, Boston is the best team in the entire league and they have been consistently at the top of the East for months now.
Therefore, other franchises might aim for Williams and make substantial offers for his contract.
But the Celtics won’t hear them at all unless they are truly worthwhile.
Boston fans will be keeping a close eye on Williams in the next few days.
