There was a time – just a few weeks ago – when Zach LaVine reiterated his desire to stay with the Chicago Bulls.
In fact, many analysts believed that the star player would stick it out and remain in Chicago even though they had a disappointing postseason and LaVine could possibly find a better and bigger contract elsewhere in the league.
Well, times have changed.

According to Marc Stein, teams within the NBA think that LaVine is officially “in play” to leave.
If that’s the case, it means that LaVine has likely played his last game for the Bulls.
That’s because it’s rare that a player wants to leave a team and then remains where he’s at.
Usually, when an athlete’s management makes it known that a move is possible, it happens.
That’s especially true for a player with as much potential as LaVine.
LaVine Leaving
LaVine just ended one of the best seasons of his career, putting up 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
For much of the season, LaVine was on fire – as were the rest of his Bulls.
Yet, LaVine suffered a few injuries that slowed him down and his knee continually bothered him.
That will need to be addressed if he moves to another team.
As for where he could, there are plenty of teams who would leap at the chance to land the two-time All-Star.
The Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, and Utah Jazz are just a few squads who could work well with LaVine in rotation.
This NBA offseason is going to be busy so if LaVine moves, he may be just one of many players who finds a new home within the league this summer.
