The Miami Marlins have been one of the most impressive teams in baseball this season.
No one expected them to be as good as they have been.
Yet the Marlins have taken the National League by storm.
They have a record of 48-34 and have put themselves in a great spot to make the playoffs.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, this is the third season where the Marlins have been at least 14 games over .500.
The previous two times, the Marlins won the World Series that year.
This is the 3rd season in Marlins franchise history that they've been at least 14 games over .500.

It is shocking to see this Marlins team playing so well.
They have a decent roster but nothing that should make them playoff contenders.
Yet the addition of Luis Arraez to their roster has taken them to a new level.
He is the best pure hitter in baseball and he is chasing history by batting .400 for the season.
Also, Arraez leads baseball in on-base percentage, which has been a massive boost for the Fish.
It is worth mentioning that their new manager Skip Schumaker has to be playing a role in their success.
He has to be on the shortlist for the Manager of the Year award.
Schumaker is a former player and he is getting the best out of his roster.
Many fans are waiting for the Marlins to come back down to Earth and go on a long losing streak.
But, that does not seem to be happening anytime soon.
This team is for real and they have a real shot at making the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see if they are buyers at the trade deadline and what moves they can make to improve their roster.
