On Monday, six MLB teams made some important announcements.
The Seattle Mariners, who finally snapped their postseason drought last season, were one of those teams.
The announcements were centered around new uniforms that will be coming at some point during the 2023 season.
More specifically, they centered around the new Nike City Connect uniforms that will be revealed later this year.
The Mariners themselves did not provide fans with a look at what their new jerseys will feature.
However, they did announce the date that they would be busting them out for the first time.
On Twitter, the team revealed that the new uniforms will be coming on Friday, May 5.
On that day, the Mariners will be playing host to the defending World Series champion Houston Astros.

That series marks the first time that these two teams will match up since the ALDS last year.
In that series, Houston swept Seattle en-route to their second World Series title.
But Seattle will be looking to right the ship, and they’ll do so with some new uniforms on tap.
Again, we do not yet know what these new jerseys will look like or what they will entail.
However, it is a reason for Mariners fans to get excited.
There is a lot to be excited about right now for Mariners fans.
The team is finally back in postseason contention and has some truly remarkable players, and some cool new uniforms will be on the way in short order, and they’ll wear them in a rematch with the Astros.
