Tuesday was spent entirely focusing on the health and status of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin after he collapsed during Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
An outpouring of support came out for the 24-year-old, and millions of dollars were donated to his foundation.
On Wednesday, NFL teams ramped up practice again with Week 18 approaching this weekend, although there are still questions to be answered and a bit of anxiety regarding Hamlin’s health.
The New York Giants are one team with deep ties to Hamlin and the Bills, especially with the number of familiar faces in the Giants’ front office.
The Giants coaching staff, front office and locker room have a deep Bills influence, beginning w/GM Joe Schoen and coach Brian Daboll. The Damar Hamlin situation is being discussed in the building today as the Giants go through their regularly scheduled Wednesday.

The Giants hired Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll this past offseason, both of whom were members of the Bills before coming to New York.
Running back Matt Breida made the move as well.

It is never an easy situation to deal with for any player or coach, especially when you have deep ties to the player — which a lot of members of the Giants do with Hamlin.
There are no NFL games scheduled until Saturday, and the Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles in an important matchup one week after New York clinched a playoff spot.
Nonetheless, Bills safety Damar Hamlin will be on the minds of a lot of players, coaches, and members of the front office, especially around the Giants organization.
