For months now, the Los Angeles Lakers and Indiana Pacers have been sitting at a standstill about trading Myles Turner.
The Lakers want Turner and the Pacers want to trade him but they cannot come together on a deal that both sides are happy with.
Therefore, any potential deal has sat on the launching pad for months without any significant developments.
Now we are hearing that the Lakers might not be the only team trying to acquire the celebrated big man.

The Los Angeles Clippers have discussed the possibility of trading for Turner, according to the latest inside reporting.
This would be a huge change of fortune for Turner and would be a shocking shakeup after months of rumor and speculation.
How serious are the Clippers about this deal and do the Lakers stand a chance of swooping in at the last moment?
Clippers Bound?
The reporting says that the Clippers are thinking of shopping away some of their excessive wing depth players and aren’t contemplating trading away guards like Reggie Jackson or John wall.
That shows that they could keep what makes them so special while only getting better with Turner on board.
The Clippers have long needed a big man to keep the team strong.
They rely on Ivica Zubac a lot but he has been recently on the bench and it’s left the Clippers looking much, much smaller.
Turner would help with that in a huge way.
The center has been on fire lately, averaging 17.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists a game on 50.7% from the field and 37% from the three-point line.
He has been a possible trade asset for the Pacers for more than a season and it seems like the rumors about him are heating up.
The Lakers might have waited too long to make a real move for Turner and they may be missing their chance for him.
