The Boston Celtics made it look easy on Wednesday night, laying out the Miami Heat in a big 134-121 victory.
Boston was once again surging, with Jayson Tatum scoring a ridiculous 40 points and Jaylen Brown behind him with 26 of his own.
Once again, the Celtics scored more than 130 and once again they easily defeated their opponent.

Scoring more than 130 points is not an easy thing to do in the NBA but the Celtics have been doing it regularly.
They just scored 134, proceeded by 140 in the game before that, and 130 in the game before that one.
This is the first time the team has been scoring 130-plus points in three straight games since the 1968 season.
With numbers and statistics like this, is it any wonder that people believe the Celtics are the team to beat in the East?
A Historic Season For The Cs
With an 18-4 record following Wednesday’s win, the Celtics are the best team in the East, surpassing the Milwaukee Bucks (15-5) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (14-8).
They are the team to beat.
But it’s not just because they are scoring more than 130 points a night, it’s because they are playing with such chemistry.
They have the very definition of strong team culture.
There were some people who thought Boston would face very hard times this season, especially after the loss of Robert Williams and Danilo Gallinari, as well as the suspension of head coach Ime Udoka.
But the connection between teammates goes much deeper and has not only survived but thrived.
That is why you are seeing the Celtics building upon last year, rather than attempting to match it.
Don’t be shocked if you see more 130-plus games from the Celtics.
