The Arizona Diamondbacks are not a team that has been mentioned much this season.
They have flown under the radar and continue to win games in pursuit of a playoff spot.
Arizona has done a good job building its roster and is finally enjoying the benefits.
One player who has played a major role in their success is catcher Gabriel Moreno.
The 23-year-old catcher is playing his first full season in the majors.
He has influenced winning for the D-backs every time he has taken the field.
According to Jack from Jomboy Media, the Diamondbacks have a 77-58 record with Moreno on the active roster.
In the 18 games he was on the injured list, the D-backs went 4-14.
The D-backs' record with Gabriel Moreno…
Before his July injury: 54-45 (.545%)
During his injury stint: 4-14 (.285%)
Since he was activated: 23-13 (.590%)

Moreno is starting to come into his own this year.
As the season has gone on he has gotten better.
His stats in September have been the best of his young career.
In 15 games this month he is batting .364 along with an on-base percentage of .442.
Not many teams have the luxury of getting strong offensive production from a catcher.
But, when he is in lineup there is no denying how much better the D-backs are.
The Diamondbacks are currently in second place in the NL Wild Card standings.
They have a 1.5-game lead over the Chicago Cubs for that spot.
We have not seen the D-Backs in the playoffs since 2017 when they got swept in the NLDS.
Arizona has surprised many people with how well they have played this year.
It will be fun to see what they can do in October.
