Although there was talk of them doing very little, the Boston Celtics were in fact quite busy during the offseason.
They sent away a few of their biggest stars but got some important talent in return.
Recently, they added Jrue Holiday after his departure from the Milwaukee Bucks.
Because of that, Skip Bayless said he thinks they are favorites to win it all.
“The Celtics just became favorites to win the East and NBA championship,” Bayless said.

Like all sports analysts, Bayless has been wrong many times in the past.
However, his prediction about the Celtics isn’t a bad one.
There really are many reasons to believe the team could go all the way and win their first championship in years.
They have been consistently great over the last few seasons and have reached the Eastern Conference Finals twice and the NBA Finals once.
Led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, they are a tough team to stop.
And the recent acquisitions they added can assist them in some enormous ways.
Holiday is not only a proven shooter, which always helps, but his defensive game is very strong and that will go a long way to limiting opponents.
Kristaps Porzingis, the other big player they added in the summer, could also lift the Celtics up.
He is a talented and versatile big man who can anchor the frontcourt.
Of course, he has a long history of injuries so his success depends on how healthy he can be for the entire season.
The Celtics already had what it takes to go far in the playoffs.
Therefore, Bayless is right to believe they could get even further with the promising changes they just made.
