The Miami Heat had a huge statement win on Sunday night, claiming Game 2 of the NBA Finals over the Denver Nuggets.
They handed the Nuggets their first home loss of the postseason and also secured a huge boost of energy and momentum for themselves.
On Monday morning, Skip Bayless talked about this Heat team and why he has so much belief in them.
“I’ve never seen anything quite like these Miami Heat. I do love to watch them, I do love to root for them because you never know where it’s going to come from on any given night,” Bayless said.

Bayless noted that Jimmy Butler’s rough patch in the playoffs continued on Sunday night.
He produced 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists during the game with a 36.8% field goal percentage.
For a number of reasons, he hasn’t been performing as “Playoff Jimmy” lately.
Yet, the Heat were will able to win the game.
They were able to limit the output from anyone on the Nuggets roster not named Jokic, leading him to score a game-high 41 points while no one else alongside him scored more than 18.
Miami also turned to a string of role players such as Max Strus, Kyle Lowry, Gabe Vincent, and especially Duncan Robinson in the closing of the game.
Head coach Erik Spoelstra has so much talent to draw from that it doesn’t matter if Butler isn’t playing incredibly because several other players will step up.
After being written off – again – by just about everyone, the Heat had another strong win on Sunday night and now people are starting to wonder if they can actually win the Finals as one of the biggest underdog teams ever.
