Today is a special day for a certain two-way star of the Los Angeles Angels.
Shohei Ohtani, who leads all of Major League Baseball in home runs, is celebrating a birthday today.
The Angels star is turning 29 years old.
Ohtani joined the Angels in 2017 and since then has become a force to be reckoned with in the game.
The two-way star won an MVP award back in 2021 and is an American League All-Star for the third time in his career.
On Twitter, MLB Network posted a photo of Ohtani and wished the Angels superstar a very happy birthday on this special occasion.

Once again, Ohtani is having a very impressive season and is proving why he is perhaps the greatest player in all of baseball today.
The two-way star has hit 31 home runs this season, which leads the Major Leagues.
He also is hitting .300 with 68 RBI and a 1.044 OPS on the year.
As a pitcher, he owns a record of 7-4 on the season with an ERA of 3.32.
He has started 17 games and has recorded 132 strikeouts over 100.1 innings of work.
The 29-year-old is having yet another impressive season and is continuing to prove his worth as one of baseball’s most talented players.
Not since the days of Babe Ruth has the game seen a player who has been able to pitch like a No. 1 starter and hit like an MVP.
Ohtani earned American League MVP honors in 2021 and may be on his way to doing it for a second time this season.
