The Baltimore Orioles have done a fantastic job of drafting and developing in recent years.
After many seasons of being one of the worst teams in baseball, they have flipped their franchise around.
They did so by selecting a few future stars in the draft.
Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, and Grayson Rodriguez are three players they drafted who are thriving this year.
But, there are still many more great young players that are on the way.
The top prospect in all of baseball is Jackson Holliday.
He was selected first overall by the Orioles in the 2022 MLB Draft.
Holliday is moving very quickly through the Orioles system.
This season alone he has played for four teams starting in Single-A and now in Triple-A.
He has done all of this despite being 19 years old.
Due to his youthfulness, Holliday had a difficult time getting a hotel room in Norfolk.
According to David Hall, Holliday had to talk his way into getting a room at a Norfolk hotel.

Even though Holliday is 19, he looks even younger than that.
All the moving around he has done this season has not affected him one bit.
At each level, he continues to thrive and show why the Orioles selected him first overall.
It seems unlikely that he will make the jump to the majors this year.
But, you can bet he will have a great shot at their Opening Day roster in 2024.
The Orioles are starting to cash in on all of their top draft picks.
This team will be very good for many seasons to come.
