The Carolina Panthers are heading into Week 7 as sellers before the trade deadline.
We already saw the Panthers shipping wide receiver Robbie Anderson off to Arizona.
However, the team is listening to trade offers on another notable veteran of theirs.
So which player is on the trading block as the November 1 deadline looms over them?
Panthers Are Looking To Trade Linebacker Shaq Thompson
According to Dov Kleiman on Twitter, there’s a report that the Panthers are looking to trade linebacker Shaq Thompson.
The #Panthers would listen to trade offers for versatile LB Shaq Thompson, according to SI.

The former first-round pick started the offseason recovering from a knee procedure he had earlier in 2022.
He came back in time to start the regular season, and the 28-year-old linebacker is having a solid season since returning.
His 39 combined tackles and 23 solo tackles put him on pace for a 2020 like season for him.
While he’s helping keep the Panthers stay alive in games, the team clearly is trying to clean house.
With his 2023 salary cap hit at $24+ million, the Panthers want another team to take him off their hands.
However, a trade of Thompson only saves them close to $1 million on the cap.
But his trade value, and the potential draft picks he can net, outweigh the cost to trade him.
His age and abilities make him a prime candidate for teams looking for an extra boost to their defense.
While the Panthers are banking on these things to help ship him to another team, it might take time to get a deal done.
With the Panthers hoping for a playoff worthy team to get Thompson, it might be a last-minute deal that sees him leaving Carolina.
