It appears that they have done that in a big way.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Colts have traded for Pro Bowl DL DeForest Buckner from the 49ers.

Buckner, 25, made the Pro Bowl in 2018 and has started all but one game in his 4 seasons in the league.
He also has 19.5 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, and 5 fumble recoveries over the past 2 seasons.
The news comes after a report earlier in the day that the 49ers re-signed Arik Armstead to a five-year contract extension worth over 17 million per season.
