The Baltimore Ravens have made an announcement regarding their look heading into the 2024 season.
For one game this year, the team will be wearing alternate purple helmets to give themselves a different kind of vibe.
The team has dubbed these helmets the “Purple Rising” Alternate Helmets, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov.

This is something that fans are not used to when it comes to the Ravens.
Their helmets have usually been black with a couple of purple lines across the top.
Also, the bird logo on the normal helmets looks more horizontal rather than this new edition where a different bird logo is seemingly staring right at people.
It is a unique choice by the franchise and perhaps one that could help the Ravens enter a new era, even if it is only going to be worn for just one game.
This is a team that is trying to get back to and win a Super Bowl for the first time in over a decade now.
They have their two-time MVP in Lamar Jackson coming off of another outstanding year.
The addition of All-Pro running back Derrick Henry should help the ground attack even more.
Having a fully healthy Mark Andrews could be a nice sight too.
Of course, the defense is generally pretty solid.
Helmet and uniform designs aside, this team looks really good on paper despite some losses and should be considered Super Bowl contenders once again.
