Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has made their plans at quarterback very clear, at least for Week 15.
Baker Mayfield is their guy.
Rams’ HC Sean McVay told reporters that QB John Wolford has a neck injury expected to sideline him Monday night in Green Bay. This means the Rams’ starting QB vs. the Packers, to no one’s surprise, will be Baker Mayfield.

With quarterback John Wolford still out with a neck injury, Mayfield will be the Rams starting quarterback against the Green Bay Packers this week.
This marks back-to-back starts for Mayfield, who led the Rams to a comeback victory on Thursday Night Football.
With the announcement that Mayfield will start again for the Rams, he will have another opportunity to showcase his skills in primetime.
The former number-one overall draft pick will face off against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Monday Night Football this week.
Packers Versus Rams: Game Preview
Being that this will be a marquee game for both teams, let’s take a look into what this game will look like, and what it means for both teams.
The Packers are in survival mode.
To make the playoffs, they will need to win this game against Mayfield and the Rams, along with their other three remaining games this season.
The Rams defense is allowing 22.8 points per game, and the Packers defense is allowing 23.2 points per game.
Both teams have similar defensive schemes and will be a tough matchup for both Mayfield and Rodgers.
Rodgers certainly has the advantage on paper, especially considering that he has been with the Packers for over 16 years.
Mayfield is a newcomer to the Rams and has less familiarity with his offensive weapons.
This has the makings of a blowout, but, given that the Packers defense has been suspect as of late, we could see an unforeseen shootout as well.
