Everyone was surprised when Damian Lillard was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks in the biggest trade of the offseason.
Michael Porter Jr. was one of the many people blown away by the move and his reaction happened to be caught on tape.
According to footage shared by Basketball Coverage, via ClutchPoints, Porter was about to be interviewed when word of the Lillard trade came through.
His response was to the point and accurate: “If he goes to Milwaukee, they’re a problem.”

Porter is still reveling in this first championship win but if he’s also thinking of the next Finals, he should be taking note of this trade.
The Bucks are now considered front-runners in the Eastern Conference by many because of their acquisition of Lillard.
That means that if the Nuggets are able to return to the championship next June, they could be facing off against Lillard and his new team.
He is right to call the Bucks “a problem” because Lillard is going to bring a lot of offensive power to Milwaukee.
The combination of Lillard and Antetokounmpo is already scaring plenty of NBA stars.
They will still have their fair share of challenges, of course, and nothing is promised to them.
But this trade sets them up to be true competitors.
The Bucks ended last season as the best team in their conference.
How much better can they get with Lillard?
Porter and all other NBA players are going to keep a close eye on the Bucks over the next few weeks.
They obviously have their sights set on winning the Finals and they will try to get through anyone – including Porter and his Nuggets – to do that.
