The dynamic between Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins appears to be reaching a critical point with their 2024 season over.
Hill, who had never missed the playoffs in his NFL career, raised eyebrows with postgame comments that cast doubt on his future in Miami.
His candid remarks about prioritizing what’s best for himself and his family have sparked speculation about a potential exit.
FOX Sports analyst Nick Wright suggested Hill might be longing for his days with the Kansas City Chiefs and their consistent winning culture and laid out a bold prediction for the wide receiver’s future.
“I think they’re gonna get a second- or a third-round pick for Tyreek Hill, maybe from the [Los Angeles] Chargers, more likely an NFC team like the [Dallas] Cowboys or the [Washington] Commanders, and then a year after that, that will not have worked out for the parties and that team will release him and in 2026 he’ll be a Chief again,” Wright said on “First Things First.”

Despite battling a nagging wrist injury, Hill showed his durability by suiting up for all 17 games.
He came tantalizingly close to his fifth straight 1,000-yard receiving season, falling just 41 yards short.
His final regular-season game proved particularly challenging, managing only two receptions for 20 yards against the New York Jets before curiously not playing in the fourth quarter.
The situation bears a striking resemblance to Hill’s departure from Kansas City, when his trade request led to the Chiefs trading him to Miami before the 2022 season.
Since then, the paths of both teams have diverged significantly. The Chiefs have claimed two Super Bowl victories and are the No. 1 seed in the AFC this year, while the Dolphins’ have reached the playoffs twice but have not won a game.
