Former Liberty Flames quarterback Malik Willis is one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The former Auburn Tiger has the versatility to be dangerous in both the pass and run games.
That’s why it won’t take long before he hears his name called by Commissioner Roger Goodell in the first round.
But while he is projected to go early, mock drafts have varying opinions on where he will land.
Even NFL experts have different takes on which team will draft him.

The NFL’s official Twitter account asked if Willis would be the first quarterback off the board.
Four personalities from the NFL Network shared their take.
Chad Reuter sees Willis going to the Detroit Lions with the second overall pick, while Charles Davis has him going to the Carolina Panthers at six.
Former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew predicts that the Seattle Seahawks will be his landing spot.
Finally, Good Morning Football host Peter Schrager thinks that Willis will become a potential successor to Ben Roethlisberger with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Their picks point out the volatility of possibilities regarding the quarterbacks in this year’s draft.
There’s no unequivocal can’t-miss prospect that stands out from the pack.
Therefore, they are more unpolished prospects who might sit out their rookie year.
Which Pick Makes The Most Sense?
The Lions might not go for a quarterback at number two because they still have Jared Goff, and they might rather draft a defensive end like Kayvon Thibodeaux or Jordan Davis.
The Steelers will be drafting 20th, and Willis might be off the board by that time.
Besides, they might be looking at other quarterbacks since they signed Mitchell Trubisky to a two-year deal.
That said, Willis might likely go to the Panthers or the Seahawks.
Seattle badly needs a quarterback after trading Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos.
Meanwhile, the Panthers continue their search for a play-caller after Sam Darnold faltered in Christian McCaffrey‘s absence.
