The last time Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans played NBA basketball was back in November when his team was still climbing high and looking like possible Finals contenders.
While his team has still done quite well in his absence, he has certainly been missed.
But the team will only have to miss him for a few more hours.
After missing two months due to a big toe injury, New Orleans Pelicans star Brandon Ingram will return tonight vs. Timberwolves barring any setback in pregame, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Shams Charania is reporting that Ingram will return to the court on Wednesday evening in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Ingram has been on the sidelines due to a toe injury that has plagued him since Thanksgiving.
He will practice with the team today and participate in the shootaround with every intention of playing unless there are any unforeseen setbacks along the way.
Ingram will be welcomed back by his team with open arms.
Before he was injured, Ingram was an absolute unit, averaging 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on 47.2% from the field.
He and Zion Williamson were leading the team and making them look better than they had been in years.
During Ingram’s time on the bench, the team also lost Williamson to injury, and is still out for at least a few more weeks.
The team has been able to score some major wins without Ingram or Williamson, showing just how talented this young roster is.
Athletes like CJ McCollum, Jose Alvarado, Jonas Valanciunas, and others have fought hard to keep the team in the running for the playoffs.
Ingram is coming back at the right time as the Pels will face the Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, and Dallas Mavericks within the next week.
We should be hearing an update on Williamson within the next two weeks so there is a chance that the Pelicans will be fully functioning again soon.
