NBA Fans React To NBA Star's Reported Police Investigation

The NBA world is talking about Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards on Tuesday and not because of the season he’s having.

Instead, multiple outlets are reporting on the fact that Beal is now under police investigation because of a heated confrontation he allegedly had with a fan following a recent game.

According to reports, Beal and some hecklers got into it after someone said that Beal had cost him $1,300 because of online betting.

Beal allegedly knocked a hat off the fan’s head and is now under investigation for battery.

Fans across the web mostly took to Beal’s defense on Tuesday, saying that the entire confrontation was being trumped up and that Beal didn’t do anything wrong.

“We really making a big deal out of someone getting their hat knocked off? Gimme a break,” said one fan while posting a GIF of Kobe Bryant using the word “soft.”

Other people said that the investigation was a waste of police manpower and that the heckler “shouldn’t gamble if he can’t handle the risk.”

This was an opinion shared by many people throughout Twitter, who felt the angry fan was solely responsible for losing his money.

While most people thought that potential charges were silly and that Beal shouldn’t be guilty of any crime, some thought he should be held to a higher standard.
