The Green Bay Packers will face Joe Flacco in Week 6 after the Cincinnati Bengals acquired the veteran quarterback in a trade with Cleveland.
For a moment, it appeared Sean Clifford, Green Bay’s former backup, might get the start for Cincinnati.
Instead, the Bengals turned to Flacco after dropping three straight games with Jake Browning under center.
Green Bay’s defense dominated Flacco earlier this season, and they’ll aim to replicate that performance at Lambeau Field.
Moreover, Micah Parsons has unfinished business with the veteran quarterback after missing a sack opportunity in Week 3.
With Flacco now wearing Bengals colors, Parsons could see another chance to add him to his list.
“Micah wanted to add Flacco to his list of sacked QBs but didn’t in Week 3. Looks like he might get another chance,” Zach Kruse posted on X.

The Packers’ pass rush has tormented opposing offenses all year, and the challenge only intensifies for Cincinnati’s struggling offensive line.
Jeff Hafley’s defense will face a Bengals front that ranks last in pass block win rate, according to ESPN metrics.
That spells trouble for Flacco, who’s still adjusting to new receivers and learning the playbook on the fly.
Back in Week 3, Flacco managed just 142 yards and threw one interception against Green Bay’s defense.
The most effective counter to relentless pressure typically involves a strong ground game and mobile quarterbacks who can extend plays.
Dallas found success using that approach with Dak Prescott, mixing quick throws and rollouts to neutralize Green Bay’s rush.
Flacco doesn’t possess that kind of mobility, and once pressure arrives, his options disappear quickly.
