The Green Bay Packers took care of business coming out of their bye week.
They didn’t cover the spread as big favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals, who put up a bigger fight than most people anticipated in their Week 6 matchup.
That’s why Packers head coach Matt LaFleur knows they can’t overlook the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.
“You can’t get too lost in the win-loss record. This is a team that has lost four games in a row by nine points. I think I read somewhere that’s unprecedented. This is a good football team, and we need to be ready to play,” LaFleur said.

The Cardinals played well against the Indianapolis Colts with Jacoby Briseet at quarterback in place of Kyler Murray, who was out with a foot injury.
As usually happens whenever a team isn’t prepared to face a backup QB, Brissett kept the chains moving, and the Arizona defense made life difficult for the Indianapolis offense.
The Packers have all they need to be one of the most dominant teams in the league, but they’ve also tended to play down to their opposition.
That has been one of the biggest talking points when discussing LaFleur’s job performance.
Green Bay needed to be humbled after opening the season with two wins, and it will have to take every opponent more seriously.
The Cardinals have struggled to close out games, and they’ve lost some games they should’ve won, particularly in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.
That has been a recurring issue under head coach Jonathan Gannon.
The Packers are road favorites ahead of this matchup, and it’ll be interesting to see how they deal with this game after failing to dominate lesser opponents.
