Luka Doncic has landed in Los Angeles.
After a shocking trade that still has the whole sports world talking, Doncic took off from Dallas to the West Coast on Sunday night.
On Monday morning, the Lakers posted a video online that showed Doncic sending a message to his new fanbase.
“What’s up, Lakers fans? I’m in LA, excited to meet y’all,” Doncic said, via Bleacher Report.

And just like that, a new era has started for the Lakers.
Doncic brings a wealth of talent and a ton of potential to the team.
This year, he is averaging 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game, shooting a strong 46.4 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from the three-point line.
Before this trade, fans weren’t sure what was next for the Lakers after LeBron James’ retirement.
Which star would come to save the franchise and lead it into the next generation?
There is now a clear answer and everyone is excited to see Doncic get started.
Of course, it’ll be a little bit of time before he is ready to play.
He is still recovering from a calf injury and has to go through physicals for the Lakers, but should be suited up in purple and gold soon.
Just a week ago, no Lakers fan could have imagined Doncic in Los Angeles and Anthony Davis in Dallas.
This trade is a great reminder that the NBA moves quickly, and this time of year can be filled with explosive and historic trades.
Doncic is now in Los Angeles and ready to start the next phase of his career.
After a wild weekend, everything looks very different for the Lakers, and fans couldn’t be happier.
