The Detroit Lions are looking for a total culture shift in 2021.
Nothing was working under Matt Patricia and the team even decided to swap Matthew Stafford for Jared Goff.
This is a new team with new expectations.
So what about the head coach?
That would be Dan Campbell, who showed up flashing his big personality from the start.
Campbell has provided some wild quotes since coming aboard, and his latest may take the cake as the best.
Listen to Campbell describe his morning routine.
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell starts the day with TWO 40-oz coffees with TWO shots of espresso each.

He is not human.
A Routine For A Rock Star
Campbell is always providing the energy and now we know why.
He starts his day with 80 ounces of coffee and four shots of espresso.
A single shot of espresso on its own is enough for some people to feel jittery.
For Campbell?
This wild coffee order is just how he starts his day.
It is evident why he is always at the podium providing great quotes and quips.
He is revved up from the start and we don’t even know if he gets more coffee throughout the day.
As an aside, it must be nice to be on that NFL salary and be able to get this Starbucks order every single day.
What he orders is not cheap.

Campbell is a quirky guy and he may just be what this Lions team needs.
He spent a decade in the league as a player and has been coaching for over a decade as well.
This guy has been around football forever and seems to know that everyone needs to have a bit of fun along the way too.
He gives the impression of a hard-nosed guy who won’t go to the extremes Patricia did to try to copy what went well in New England.
Of course, everyone is in good spirits now because it is still training camp.
Campbell’s personality may rub people the wrong way if the Lions come out of the gate looking awful.
But that is the beauty of this time of year in the NFL.
Everyone is 0-0 and all the interviews are still fun and about all the fun that lies ahead.
And Campbell can still pound coffee and espresso at this rate without having to give an interview about why his team got destroyed on the field the day prior.
The new head coach does not have to do much to raise the bar given the way Patricia’s tenure went.
The team has not won more than six games since 2017, so there is your starting point.
Campbell can go from a goofy guy to a staple in town rather fast if he turns the Lions around.
