When NFL analysts put together their predictions for the upcoming season, they can take one of two paths.
One path is to take the straight and narrow way, picking teams that are popular among other analysts.
Others can choose an edgier approach, potentially choosing a team that is less popular which likely leads to controversy.
In a recent segment of “Undisputed,” Keshawn Johnson chose the edgier path, selecting the New Orleans Saints to win the Super Bowl.

This was met with raised eyebrows from Skip Bayless and Michael Irvin, who couldn’t believe what they were hearing.
Johnson talks about Derek Carr’s potential ability to lead this team, especially since he will be their full-time starter.
Last season, the Saints rolled out three different quarterbacks throughout the season, as Johnson points out.
He and many other analysts believe that, if you have two (or three) quarterbacks, it’s nearly impossible to put together a winning season.
Johnson believes Carr’s career history will be a great asset to this Saints team, leading them to a Super Bowl victory.
One of the other factors that led to Johnson’s decision is the current state of the NFC South.
Baker Mayfield is leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a situation that Johnson is not fond of.
By playing the Buccaneers twice in 2023, along with the rest of the division, Johnson believes the Saints can go a long way.
When diving into the rest of their schedule, Johnson picked apart the opposing quarterbacks, indicating they have an easy road.
