The Minnesota Vikings arguably have the best wide receiver in the game.
That’s how most people feel when talking about Justin Jefferson, and as such, expectations are always high.
Asked about that, Jefferson acknowledged that there are high standards he has to meet.

Even when Jefferson doesn’t post video game numbers, just having him out there opens up a lot of things for the Vikings offense.
He’s among the most dangerous weapons in the league right now, and as such, demands defensive attention.
This offseason, Jefferson became the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
With that kind of elite contract comes a big responsibility to live up to those standards.
So far, no one can say he hasn’t been worth every penny, especially with the Vikings holding a 10-2 record and in the thick of the NFC playoff race.
Quarterback Sam Darnold has played surprisingly well, and head coach Kevin O’Connell’s offensive system is one of the most efficient in the entire league.
That has plenty to do with having a player of Jefferson’s caliber.
There’s a good chance he will go down as the greatest wide receiver in Vikings history, which is a lot to say for a franchise that has had superstars Cris Carter and Randy Moss.
