The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the biggest surprises of the 2021 NFL season and the play of Joe Burrow is a huge reason to thank for that.
The second-year quarterback has responded well after last year’s season-ending injury and has the Bengals at 5-2 this year.
His latest victory came Sunday in a blowout against the Baltimore Ravens.
Burrow had over 400 yards and threw three touchdowns in the statement win over the division rival.
Such a victory could go to the heads of everyone in that Bengals locker room.
Yet Burrow seems to have his team staying level and offered up these three words as a part of a longer response about how the Bengals feel:
“We’re not satisfied.”
This is the best attitude to have and the Bengals appear destined for great things with Burrow.

A Lot Of Time To Go
The Bengals are 5-2 with 10 games remaining in the season.
That is a lot of time for things to go south if the Bengals don’t keep up their current pace.
However, this Sunday features a matchup against the lowly New York Jets, who are now without Zach Wilson.
Barring disaster, that is a win to get to 6-2.

Every single team in the AFC North has at least three wins so far, so the Bengals are far from locks to take the division.
The difference in 2021 is that they are keeping pace at the top instead of sitting in the basement hoping for a miracle.
Burrow already has 17 touchdowns this season and has found a favorite target in Ja’Marr Chase.
The offense is humming at a time when the defense is allowing right around 18 points per game.
The Jets are doomed as long as Burrow keeps up his current mindset and makes sure his teammates follow suit.
