The race to get Odell Beckham Jr. has seen the Dallas Cowboys as a potential team for the receiver.
While the star receiver is visiting several NFL teams, the Cowboys are seen by some as a favorite.
However, team owner Jerry Jones is now talking about his meeting with Beckham.
Did the meeting go well, or are the Cowboys willing to pass on the star receiver?
Jones Doesn’t Tip His Hand With Comments On Beckham Meeting
While everyone wants deep answers, Jones only gave some details of his meeting with Beckham.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on Odell Beckham Jr.: “We had pretty extensive meetings (yesterday). We spent quite a bit of time together. I enjoyed every minute of it. We’ll get back together today and see where we go from here. A lot of variables. It has to fit for both parties.”

With the meetings being “extensive,” it leaves some fans believing Jones will not get the star receiver.
The part some wonder about are the “variables” Jones talks about in his interview.
It led one fan to believe it can be on several things, from money to number of years he’ll play for Dallas.
Nah. There are lots of variables. How much we are willing to pay vs how much he wants. How many years. How to structure incentives and guarantees. What is the market for a 30 year old with 2 knee injuries? The risk? How many people do you know that have different opinions.

The questions are all reasonable, as the two might have different goals.
However, with Jones still interested in Beckham, the two might come to an agreement.
But is it realistic to sign him to a deal?
Can OBJ Make The Impact The Cowboys Need On Offense?
Every team has some player that’s dynamic and can make an impact.
However, is a receiver coming off an ACL injury able to affect the game?
With Beckham, he feels he can improve the Cowboys offense.
The Cowboys currently have the 23rd-ranked passing offense by yards, meaning they can use some improvement.
With Beckham’s history of making big plays, he can improve the Cowboys passing offense.
