The Boston Celtics almost went all the way last season and the sting of defeat is going to drive them into the new year.
Marcus Smart has recently opened up about how much he still thinks of his team’s Finals loss to the Golden State Warriors.
He said he is driven to win it all in the new season.
Meanwhile, we have seen Jaylen Brown practicing and conditioning during the summer, as have other players from the crew.
But perhaps none are as important as Jayson Tatum, the team’s MVP who will be a huge part of their success in 2022-23.

Tatum was spotted in the gym and he appears to be in the best shape of his career.
Tatum looks strong, sleek, fit, and ready to play.
That is exactly what fans of the Celtics were hoping for because they know that Tatum will be central to their next playoff run.
Tatum In Charge
Tatum averaged 26.9 points, 8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists last season.
When the playoffs came around, it was Tatum’s time to lead his team and step up in a huge way.
He did – for the most part.
Some spectators feel that Tatum choked a bit during the postseason, especially in the Finals.
However, they need to remember that this was his first time at the Finals and he was playing against one of the greatest basketball teams of all time.
Besides, Tatum has consistently shown that he learns from his mistakes and can adapt and evolve.
This means that he might be better than ever in the new season and he could feel much more at home in the Finals.
If that’s the case, the Celtics could be claiming their 18th championship ring when the season comes to an end.
