Taylor Swift has been a focal point of the 2023 NFL season after she started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and attending games this year.
She went to 12 games earlier this year, including the past three playoff matches against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens.
But with all the fanfare around Swift came criticisms from across the world – both among NFL and political pundits – that caused some uproar around the sport just days away from Super Bowl LVIII.
Jason Kelce, the brother of Travis and center for the Philadelphia Eagles, fought back against those who are against Swift being shown on NFL broadcasts.
“The NFL would be foolish not to show [Taylor Swift],” Kelce said. “[She is] an unbelievable role model for young women across the globe.”

Swift’s presence at NFL games this year has created a surge in more women and non-football fans watching games.
That has been a huge benefit for the league and the Kelce’s but, as Jason mentioned, Swift has proven to be a good role model in her own right for an audience that typically wouldn’t pay attention to football games.
Now, she could be a part of the broadcast for the NFL’s biggest game of the year in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
That is, if she can make it from her concert in Toyko, Japan, in the days before.
Either way, Swift is now a part of the NFL world so long as she and Kelce are dating.
