It is a new era for the Green Bay Packers as Jordan Love is now their starter at quarterback, and the results have been mixed at best so far.
He has completed only 57.7 percent of his pass attempts this year, and although he has thrown a solid 11 touchdown passes, he has also thrown eight interceptions, and his 78.2 passer rating is very poor.
The Packers are certainly not used to substandard play under center, as this is the first time since 1991 they haven’t had a star caliber player there.
Per Rob Demovsky via Dov Kleiman, they reportedly aren’t sure if Love is their long-term solution at QB, and general manager Brian Gutekunst hinted that the team’s remaining 10 games may decide his fate.
UPDATE: #Packers are "unsure" if Jordan Love is their Franchise quarterback for the future, per @RobDemovsky
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst says he can't say for sure whether Love the long-term future of the franchise at this mid-point of the season.

This is Love’s first season as a starter after he served as Aaron Rodgers’ backup for the prior three years, and while he has struggled, there is a caveat.
Green Bay has a glaring lack of reliable playmakers around Love, especially at the wide receiver position, as none of their players have reached 320 receiving yards yet.
In addition, running back Aaron Jones, one of their biggest weapons over the last few years, has been hampered all year due to a hamstring injury.
Thus, it is not surprising the Packers are just 2-5 right now.
It may not be fair for them to give up on Love after just one full year as a starter, as a number of star signal-callers struggled in their first year as a starter before blossoming.
Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, and Trevor Lawrence, just to name a few, all had pretty awful rookie years and faced many doubters before emerging into the current versions of themselves.
