It might be difficult to find an NFL player who’s more popular than Travis Kelce at the moment.
Kelce has gotten into an array of off-field endeavors that have skyrocketed his popularity, including a cameo in “Happy Gilmore 2,” a hosting gig at SNL, an ever-exploding podcast, and many more.
Dating Taylor Swift has certainly garnered him a lot of new fans, many of whom didn’t have much NFL interest before he linked up with the music star.
Kelce seemingly has a bright future ahead of him when he decides to hang up his cleats, but he hasn’t retired yet.
He’s still one of the most accomplished tight ends in league history, and the Kansas City Chiefs are counting on him to be a vital part of their passing game.
Famed tight end Greg Olsen has high expectations for Kelce this year as well, as he mentioned in a recent appearance on Jim Rome’s show.
“I’d love to see him go out with a 1000-yard season, double-digit touchdowns and be able to walk away having the type of season we’ve come to expect out of Travis,” Olsen said.

2025 might not be Kelce’s last in the NFL, but it could prove to be a pivotal role in what he decides to do in 2026 and beyond.
As Olsen mentioned, Kelce has been a dominant force in previous seasons, and while 2024 didn’t feature any career highs, there’s still plenty of reason to believe he has enough gas left in the tank for at least one more strong campaign.
Kelce might be a future media star and be dating one of the most powerful women on the planet, but he’s still a prolific football player with a competitive drive that could propel him to another spectacular year.
