After their loss against Team Lithuania in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, the various NBA stars who make up Team USA had something to prove.
They did just that on Tuesday morning.
America easily took down Italy, 100-63, and are now headed to the semifinals of the tournament.
Multiple players came out and performed strongly for Team USA and they were all celebrated online.

Many fans were relieved – but maybe not surprised – to see Team USA do so well against Italy.
There were some who expected America to come out swinging after their disappointing loss just days before.
A win against Italy was pivotal and America proved they wanted it.
Awesome job USA.

And a lot of Austin Reaves fans popped up to support their favorite Los Angeles Lakers star.
Reaves received a lot of criticism for his performance against Lithuania days ago.
But he produced 12 points off the bench against Italy and was looking much more like his regular self again.
“Where the AR haters at now?” one fan asked.

There are many online who think the American team has what it takes to win the whole tournament.

If America didn’t win against Italy, their time in the World Cup would have been over.
However, now that they have secured a spot in the semifinals, the challenges will get bigger and the competition tougher.
Team USA cannot slip up again.
They need to perform like they did against Italy in every game moving forward if they want to win it all.
