Throughout NBA history, we’ve witnessed some very good players turn into legends in the playoffs, and some legends crumble under pressure.
Jimmy Butler is most definitely one of the first group, as he usually goes from a star to one of the best players on Earth as soon as the postseason hits.
That’s been more evident this season than ever, as he already has two games of 40+ points in the playoffs after not having one in the regular season.

Moreover, he’s been putting up Michael Jordan-like numbers with insane efficiency, and the fans on Twitter have surely noticed it.
He is the greatest player of all time.

He has literally no help. He is the team.

He’s definitely taken a page or two from Jordan’s book, completely taking over and being the most dominant player in the league when the season is on the line.
The Heat needed some heroics with their second-best scorer Tyler Herro on the shelf, so Jimmy made sure to make up for his offensive production while also putting in the work on the defensive end of the floor.
Now, he’ll have to keep that intensity going when his team heads up north to face the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals, and they won’t be undermanned like the Milwaukee Bucks were in the first round.
