The Minnesota Vikings were able to ink their All-Pro wide receiver in Justin Jefferson to a major four-year extension worth $140 million.
That means that some of the league’s other great wide receivers might want to surpass that.
One of those other great wide receivers is future Hall-of-Famer Tyreek Hill, who is the straw that stirs the drink in Miami for the Dolphins.
Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus recently spoke with Miami sportscaster Josh Moser about possibly jumping back into the top five of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL.
“I’ve been in touch with Chris Grier and Brandon Shore of the Dolphins…I’ve shared with them how Tyreek feels…He would love to finish his career with the Dolphins,” Rosenhaus stated.
Now that the Justin Jefferson deal is done, I spoke to Drew Rosenhaus about getting his client, Tyreek Hill, more money to put him back in line with the top-5 highest paid at his position. @DrewJRosenhaus saying, “ I have a fluid line of communication with Chris Grier and Brandon… pic.twitter.com/Gx53yj69Qv

If the Dolphins could lock up Hill for the rest of his career, that would be a very wise move given how talented the six-time All-Pro is.
The former Super Bowl champion has over 10,000 career receiving yards and has recorded at least 1,100 receiving yards in six of the last seven years.
He has caught over 110 passes each of the last three years too.
Despite being 29 last season, he led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and touchdown catches (13).
It appears as though he is still one of the best overall players in the league despite turning 30 years of age in March.
Hill makes quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s life easier with his speed and agility.
He can take jet sweeps and screen passes to the house in an instant.
Look for Miami to lock up the field-stretcher with another major deal at some point very soon.
