The Miami Dolphins have had a rough go after winning a Week 1 matchup against the New England Patriots.
Tua Tagovailoa was knocked out of action in Week 2 and the efforts of Jacoby Brissett have led to a 1-4 record as we enter Week 6.
Of course, this is not all Brissett’s fault.
Yet the Dolphins want to see what the young Tagovailoa can do and determine if they should indeed build around him for the future.
In a bit of good news, the southpaw is trending toward a return.
Brian Flores had said he was throwing and doing well. A good sign. https://t.co/10Ia0b48pY

Returning from injured reserve was the first big step.
Now comes the question of whether he can take a flight to London and play with his previously injured ribs.
He suffered fractured ribs less than one month ago, so that may be a lot to ask.
A Chance For A Much-Needed Win
The Dolphins are off to London this weekend to take on the winless Jacksonville Jaguars.
That should favor the Dolphins, but the Jaguars are no stranger to playing a game overseas.
Yet this team is young and has a new coach, so it may be a bit of a reset for the team as a whole.
The stage is set for Tua Tagovailoa to prove the doubters wrong and turn Miami into one of the better stories in the NFL.
The Dolphins find themselves 1-4 and desperate for a win. Teams remaining in the schedule-Jaguars, Texans, Falcons, Jets (X2), Panthers, Giants.

Having Tagovailoa on the field should give the team an edge if he can play at expected levels.
But what are those levels?
Tagovailoa has 11 NFL starts to his name and is still a giant question mark.
That explains why the Dolphins continue to be linked to Deshaun Watson.
Trying To Remain Patient
It is still not determined yet if Tagovailoa can even play this Sunday.
Even if he does and looks bad, that is not grounds for saying the Dolphins need to find a new signal-caller.
This is a multi-year process and the fact he is dealing with an injury so early in year two should reset the clock a bit.
Whether ownership wants to stick with the plan remains to be seen.
Few teams are patient anymore when it comes to young quarterbacks, especially when seeing so much success around the league at the position.
