The Miami Dolphins made the playoffs in 2022, despite being riddled with injuries up and down their roster.
One of their injured players was Trill Williams, one of the team’s cornerbacks.
Williams tore his ACL during the preseason of 2022 and was unable to play in any games during the season.
At a recent charity event, Williams commented on his status for 2023, saying, “I feel fantastic,” and “I got cleared towards the end of OTAs,” per Mike Masala of The Dolphins Wire.

Williams is looking to compete in a more crowded cornerback room this year.
The Dolphins have recently added veteran Jalen Ramsey, who should provide plenty of experience to their cornerbacks.
“Everybody that’s in that room is going to compete,” Williams said.
Williams likely believes that he’s facing an uphill battle to make the roster, especially considering the team’s defensive talent.
“It’s going to push you to be the best version of yourself,” Williams later said about his fellow cornerbacks.
By having a player like Ramsey around, Williams could be driven to be even more successful, hoping to make the team with extra motivation.
The Dolphins also employ Xavien Howard, who continues to establish himself as a powerful defensive force.
After making the playoffs last year, but ultimately falling in the first round, the Dolphins will be hungry to get back to the postseason in 2023.
If Tua Tagovailoa is healthy for the entire season, those odds get significantly better.
Can Williams do everything he needs to join the fight?
