The Boston Celtics secured a huge win over the Miami Heat on Saturday night, forcing Game 7 after being down 0-3.
The Celtics led the scoreboard almost the entire game before the Heat took the lead in the fourth quarter.
Jimmy Butler came back to life and showed why he’s still a dangerous player in this series.
However, it was Derrick White who stole the show, taking an offensive rebound and giving the win to his Celtics.
After the match was over, the guard opened up on his big play, explaining what went through his mind during that moment.

White just tried to make the play and help his team. He knew that if Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown weren’t open, another player would take the shot and he needed to be ready for whatever.
In the end, it worked for him, as he grabbed the ball and put it in the basket before the buzzer went off, completing one of the best moments of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
The Celtics have found ways to win games and make this series a memorable one.
They’re now heading back home to try to beat the Heat and complete a 3-0 comeback for the first time in NBA history.
They’d be the first of 151 teams to accomplish this, and seeing how motivated they were after this game, Celtics fans have reasons to dream.
White finished the game with 11 points, but he made some crucial shots during the game, including the game-winning one.
Boston has high expectations ahead of Game 7 and if their role players keep showing up, the situation will get harder for Miami.
