For years, NFL fans have debated about the greatest quarterback in football history.
Before Tom Brady’s dominance, most agreed that it was Joe Montana.
Others talked about Peyton Manning, while others even included Aaron Rodgers in that conversation, at least from a talent perspective.
We’ve also seen Patrick Mahomes mentioned.
Again, we’re talking about talent and nothing else.
Colin Cowherd, however, has a different opinion.
In the latest edition of “The Herd,” the renowned pundit gave Josh Allen the nod instead.

He vowed to “die on that hill,” doubling down on his statement of Allen being the most talented quarterback he has ever seen.
From a physical tools perspective, that might be accurate.
Allen entered the league as quite the raw prospect, but the athleticism, size, arm strength, and speed were always there.
He’s now set the blueprint for other quarterbacks to make it to the league in hopes of being as good as he is.
Allen has often been criticized for his reckless decision-making, but he’s taking elite care of the football this season.
However, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
What cannot be denied is that Josh Allen has been the absolute best quarterback in the National Football League this season, which is a lot to say with guys like Lamar Jackson also posting MVP-caliber numbers.
