Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Los Angeles Clippers a few seasons ago with the promise of serious greatness.
Sadly for fans of the team, that greatness hasn’t arrived.
The team has struggled a lot, with both injuries and bad luck in the West, and has yet to reach the Finals.
But there is a chance that the team could finally and truly deliver this year.

A photo from inside the team’s training camp has fans more than excited.
It features Leonard going up to the hoop against George.
The fact that both men are back and healthy and playing with one another is enough to make a casual fan want to buy season tickets.
What happens if they are as good as they could be?
And what happens if they’re not?
The Clipshow Returns
No matter what happens, next summer will be a big one for the Clippers.
If the team capitalizes on having Leonard and George back (alongside John Wall, who is now on the team) then they could reach the NBA Finals or at least go very, very far in the postseason.
If the Clippers do not have a great season then there is a solid chance that they’ll be broken up.
It’s been a few years and there will come a point when the front office will cut its losses and start some sort of rebuild, or at the very least a big shakeup.
Fans of the team are eager to see Leonard and George together again but they all know that if things don’t go exceedingly well in 2022-23 then the future of the team could look radically different.
