The Golden State Warriors have an interesting experiment on their hands right now, to say the least.
They traded for Chris Paul, one of the most accomplished point guards to ever live, regardless of the fact that Stephen Curry is still in his prime and perfectly healthy.
Paul and Curry have been rivals for the better part of the last decade, with the latter taking the ‘best point guard in the league’ distinction from the former.
But none of that matters anymore, as they’ll be in the same locker room, and Paul seems to be quite excited about joining the team from the Bay area.

Of course, it’ll be kind of bizarre to see Paul wearing the Warriors’ threads, not to mention the fact that he could actually be on the floor with Curry at the same time.
He’s likely to either come off the bench or spend most of his minutes with the second unit, and having that kind of luxury is more than enough to make them one of the strongest contenders to come out of the Western Conference next season.
Paul’s methodical style of play doesn’t seem to be a natural fit for Steve Kerr’s run-and-gun offense, but the Warriors have enough depth in the second unit to try and make things work.
If someone can figure out how to coexist on and off the court, that’s definitely Paul, Curry, Draymond Green, and Coach Kerr, so it’ll be interesting to watch this team do their thing next season.NEXT: Chris Paul Says There Has Been No Discussion About His Role With Warriors
